Baci Restaurant

The parcel of land that Baci Ristorante Italiano now sits was originally owned by the Large family in the early seventeen hundreds. After many years of Large family hand-me-downs, the property ended up in the pocession of a Solebury farmer, Thomas P. Broadhurst. Through several transactions, Jane E. Atkinson became the first registered tavern licensee. Atkinson, Dungan, Duckworth and Ott were all names of people that at one time or another owned the rights to what is now known as Baci Ristorante Italiano that utilized the property as a hotel or restaurant. Known as "The Ottoway House", "Baskerville's", "Stone Manor Tavern" but today, "Baci". The Heart of Oak Pub is modeled after a British pub right down to it's menu. Offering a cozy atmosphere with a wood burning stove and an attentive staff the Heart of Oak Pub has many English style beers on tap in a true pint size serving. Open for both lunch and dinner the pub offers it's usual pub menu but you may also have Baci's menu. "This European-inspired Buckingham, Pa., establishment serves Northern Italian cuisine with a French twist, befitting the heritage of Executive Chef David Husenaj." - TIMEOFF "The restaurant's seafood dishes are exemplary. Calamari, clams, shrimp and a marvelous Zuppa di Aragosta..." - Nouveau "At meal's end, the overriding feeling we had was of just having eaten in someone's home. Flavors were deep, rich and gratifying." - Bucks County Courier Times "Foods are cooked in the Tuscan style which, like the Tuscan people is simple, direct, honest and straightforward." - Nouveau Our desserts were divine. Both the pastry and the filling of the cannoli were so light and pleasing, we could not believe they contained calories." - TIMEOFF "..spoiled throughout with excellent service..." - Bucks County Courier Times Baci Restaurant Rte 202 & 413 Buckingham, PA 18912 Phone: 215-794-7784 http://www.baciristorante.com
